Marlon Wayans says that in his forthcoming comedy special, he will talk about his journey of supporting his son Kai’s gender transition.
The renowned actor, famous for his comedic roles in “The Wayans Bros.” and “White Chicks,” opened up on November 10 during an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” shedding light on both his professional and personal life.
In the interview, the 51-year-old shared his experiences as a father to Kai, emphasizing that Kai was assigned female at birth. On November 12, Wayans took to Instagram, posting a family photo featuring Kai on his left side.
Born in 2000 to Wayans and his former wife Angelica Zachary, Kai became a focal point in the actor’s discussion about the importance of parental understanding during a child’s transition.
