Ahmaud Arbery was fatally shot while out for a jog back in February and the graphic video of the entire encounter has been released.
The 25-year-old was followed by two white men, Gregory McMicheal and his son Travis, in a Brunswick, Ga. neighborhood on February 23rd.
According to reports the two were reportedly trying to catch up with Arbery for a citizen’s arrest, the video depicts how they followed him in their truck and tried to cut him off while he during his run.
Arbery then turned around and ran in the opposite direction and the two men continued to chase him before finally catching up to him fatally shooting him in broad daylight.
Neither Greg or Travis McMichael have been charged.
Tom Durden, the district attorney for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, has suggested that the case be presented to a Grand Jury for consideration of criminal charges against the McMichaels.
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, tweeted today about the video that is circulating showing the brutal murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
“The video is clear,” Biden writes, “Ahmaud Arbery was killed in cold blood. My heart goes out to his family, who deserve justice and deserve it now.”
The former vice-president also calls for a “swift, full, and transparent” investigation into the murder.

Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate, Stacey Abrams also called for a “full investigation, appropriate charges, and an unbiased prosecution.”
